This policy covers the Lead Accounting Plus MCP connector (“the connector”), which links your Lead Accounting Plus account to Claude. Our general privacy policy continues to apply to the Lead Accounting Plus platform itself.
1. What data the connector processes
- Credentials — your Company ID, Company Key, User ID and password are used once at sign-in to authenticate against the Lead Accounting Plus API. They are then stored only inside an encrypted access token (AES-256-GCM) held by your Claude client. We do not keep a separate copy of your password on the connector server.
- Business data — account names, item details, transactions, balances and reports are retrieved from your LEAD account only when you (through Claude) invoke a tool, and are returned directly to your Claude conversation. The connector does not log, mine or retain the business data passing through it.
- Conversation data — the connector receives only the tool name and parameters Claude sends for each call. It has no access to your wider Claude conversation, memory or files.
2. Storage and retention
- The connector server keeps short-lived session identifiers in memory to avoid repeated logins. These expire automatically and are lost on restart.
- No tool request or response content is persisted by the connector.
- Your underlying business data continues to be stored by Lead Accounting Plus under our standard terms of service, unchanged by this connector.
3. Third-party sharing
- Data flows only between your Claude client, this connector, and the Lead Accounting Plus API. We do not sell or share connector data with any other third party.
- Content returned to Claude is handled by Anthropic under their privacy policy: anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
4. Security
- All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
- Authentication uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE; tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
- Your existing LEAD user permissions apply to every action taken through Claude.
